PROGRAM COORDINATOR

Michelle Lonasee, is the Student Program Coordinator for the American Indian Program. She was born and raised in the Pueblo of Zuni, Zuni, New Mexico. Michelle is a New Mexico State University Alumni with her Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Business Education and her Master of Arts degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a specialization in Educational Learning Technologies. Before coming to NMSU, she worked at NASA-Whites Sands Test Facility as a Quality Assurance Clerk and Training Coordinator. During her spare time, she volunteers at Casa de Peregrino's Food Pantry.

Fun Fact: Michelle enjoys spending time with her daughters, watching movies (murder mystery, drama, action, criminal), being the cheer mom for family sports (volleyball, basketball and soccer), as well as attending rock concerts with her husband. She also loves to bake, sew and make arts & crafts on her cricut machine.
